Well, time is just flying by, isn't it? I found myself a little sick this weekend and I realized not only my body, but my mind, soul, spirit, etc. also needed a little rest. Sometimes I can push so hard, but there comes a time when you just need to stop. I hope someday I'll learn to not take on too much.
Meanwhile, while I'm resting this weekend, my wife is weilding a sledgehammer to blow a chimney to smitherines. We bought a house from her parents, but it needs a little fixing up. So I'm actually home because I'm working this weekend, but Emily and her parents are up in Huntertown working on the house. We spent last weekend tearing plaster and lathe off a few walls. Maybe I'll eventually post some pictures as we progress. It will be quite a fun project for our summer.
No big trips for us this summer, but we hope to take some vacation days to work on our house, and if we're lucky we'll at least get a weekend away sometime. July 13-15 is the Annual CCWC Church Campout, so that will be exciting as always.
I've taken to listening to some Joyce Meyer tapes lately. The woman speaks the truth.
